Crossbar Challenge

Friday's Lucky 15 successfully fell into the category of crossbar challenge as once again what could have been a nice bag of sand ended up a disappointing Lady Godiva. One winner, two seconds and a third.

My final table fever on the poker seems to have ended also, with three complete misses in the last eight days. I have played like a bit of an arse though to be honest making mistakes in the first two and trying to bluff calling stations in the last. I did also get rivered for a £700 pot in 5 card PLO, holing As2sJhQhJd on a flop of JsTs2h. Hitting the flop this hard I wanted to keep a couple of the 6 to flop interested beyond it and led out for £10 into a £24 pot; 4 callers was more than I anticipated but 6c on the turn was probably as safe as it gets. This time I bet £30 into the £64 pot, which gets called in one spot then pot reraised in another for £130 more; folded to me I'm allin for another £130 on top. The £30 caller gets out of the way and reluctantly the re-potter calls with TTQ9x. Still a great spot for me as although he is open-ended the K gives me Broadway, so he's down to three eights (8s gives me the nut flush) and one ten. Of course the dealer goes the the most painful way and stick the case ten on the river. OUCH THAT HURT!!!!!

If I was in the middle of a bad run that might have sent me under, but hey as they say, whoever they are - THATS POKER!!!

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, but I've been away for a few days for a short break. The poker has still been going well and I made another final table last Wednesday in the £20 rebuy at G-Casino Sheffield, where we did a deal with 8 left for around £1k each. I played the £50 rebuy at the same venue on Sunday but made a stupid mistake which cost me all my chips. Note to self - must concentrate harder!

Poker Update

I played the £50 rebuy at G-Casino Sheffield Last night and yet again made another final table where we all did a deal with 10 left to chop the £12k prize pool evenly. It was 5am by this time and I do have to work today, otherwise I would have played on being as I'm frickin' awesome at the moment - toot toot!!!

No horses today btw, I've had a look, but couldn't focus - YAWN!!!

Another final table?

Yes 'tis true, surpassing last weeks deal with eight left and finishing 6th, I went several better last night doing a deal with five left for a nice share of £7.5k and a chip count finish of 2nd for the record. This of course was the £20 rebuy at the G casino Sheffield where I also pulled £510 from the cash table on Friday. I do feel like I'm gonna make the final every time I play at the moment - toot toot!
